Product Description

The LTD ground penetrating radar consists of an integrated host, an antenna, and related  accessories (Figure 1). For the high-frequency electromagnetic pulse used by ground  penetrating radar, the media encountered in engineering detection and exploration are usually

low-loss media based on displacement current. In this type of medium, the reflection  coefficient and the wave velocity depend mainly on the dielectric constant ε of the medium,  the relative permittivity of air is 1, and the minimum; the relative permittivity of water is 81,

the largest. When the radar is working, it emits high frequency electromagnetic pulses (tens of  megahertz to gigahertz) to the underground medium. When the electromagnetic pulse  encounters the interface of different electrical media, it will be reflected or scattered. The

ground penetrating radar receives and records these signals, and then can understand the  situation of the underground media through further signal processing and interpretation  (Figure 2).
