Brass Made Linear Shrinkage Moulds for Soil Classification
The linear shrinkage test method covers the determination of the linear shrinkage of the fraction of a soil sample passing a 425um test sieve from linear measurement on a bar of soil.
The linear shrinkage mould is made by brass. Conforms to BS 1377:2.

140 mm long and 12.5mm radius and is used for the determination of the total linear shrinkage of soils, and indicates the plastic properties of soils with low clay content.
