Accropode Application Design

 

Accropode, developed in 1981 by French Sogreah, is a concrete material cast in one-time by fixed formwork. The precast of accropode typically utilizes shaped composite steel formwork, assembled by 2 symmetrical units. Concrete is stratified in layers, vibrated, and compacted. After pouring, the mold is dismantled and maintained after 20h.

 

The accropode structure comes in two types: A-type and B-type. A-type accropode is shorter, fatter with chamfered ribs, firmer, and easier to demould. B-type is thinner, taller, with longer legs, suitable for small tonnage blocks.

 

Prefabrication process: formwork inspection and cleaning, brushing release oil, formwork installation, concrete placement, demoulding, repair and maintenance, component stacking.
