Compaction Permeameter for Permeability Testing of Soil

Compaction Permeameters use density molds and collars that meet requirements for conventional 4in (102mm) or 6in (152mm) Proctor soil compaction molds. These versatile permeameters perform falling head or constant head soil permeability tests. Permeameter has anodized aluminum upper and lower plates to secure the mold and collar. They are Fitted with inlet / outlet valves, and connectors. An air bleed valve is built in to allow the flow of water through the compacted sample. The necessary tubing, two Porous Stones, and sealing rings are included.

A permeameter stand with three manometer tubes is required and is purchased separately. Reservoirs and other accessories are also purchased separately. Additional Soil Density Molds are available to speed up the sample preparation process.
