Accropode Application Design

 

Accropode, developed in 1981 by French Sogreah, is a concrete material cast in one-time by fixed formwork. The precast of accropode typically uses shaped composite steel formwork, assembled by 2 symmetrical units. The concrete is layered into the mold, vibrated, and compacted. After pouring, the mold is dismantled and maintained after 20h. The structure is divided into A-type and B-type accropode, each with unique characteristics.

 

Features:

 

• A-type accropode: shorter, fatter with chamfered ribs, firmer, and easier to demould.


• B-type accropode: thinner, taller, longer legs, suitable for small tonnage blocks.
