The In-situ CBR Test Apparatus LCB-2 is used to determine quickly and efficiently the bearing capacity of soils on road constructions, foundations, road subgrades. Load is applied through a mechanical jack and handwheel. Upper beam can be adjusted in height. The working principle of the instrument is the use of rear axle load of not less than 60KN truck, with Jack loading, through penetration rod measured quantity of penetration and dynamometer measured load weight, the soil CBR value calculation of field.
