Speedy Moisture Tester
The new speedy Moisture Tester quickly and accurately measures the moisture contentin virtually any powder , mixes and pastes of soil , sand , clay , or other granular material  .
In a seedy Moisture Tester , the moisture in the test specimen reacts with calcium carbide reagent to form acetylene gas in the pressure chamber. The amount of gas formed , and the pressure created , is a function of the moisture in the specimen . The pressure gauge on the tester is calibrated to directly read the percentage of moisture contained in the specimen . 
The speedy Molsture Testers permit accuate testing of specimens in the field , with typical test times as short as a few minutes .
Each speedy Moisture Tester is supplied complete with balance , measuring spoon , cleaning cloth and brushes , calcium carbide reagent and polished oak carrying case.
