Motor Operated and hand operated Liquid Limit Device
In the classification of soils for use in highway design, the liquid limit and the plasticity index (PI) are the most important. The plasticity index gives the best measure of the plasticity of the soil. It is the difference between the liquid limit and the plastic limit. The Liquid Limit is the water content at which the soil changes from the liquid state to a plastic state. It is the minimum moisture content at which a soil flows upon application of very small shear force.
STANDARD
The Liquid limit device is used to determine the moisture Content at which clay soils pass from a plastic to a liquid
State.
Different models are available conforming to the various Specifications in use. They are identical in shape and
Different generally according to type of base and cup Weight. We can supply two versions: Hand operated and
Motor operated.
