The Liquid limit device is used to determine the moisture content at which clay soils pass from a plastic to a liquid state.
Comprises:
removable brass cup, adjustable crank and cam mechanism. blow counter, and base. Different models are avalable conforming to the various specifications in use. They are identical in shape and different generally according to type of base and cup weight. Two versions avalable: hand operated and motor operated. The grooving tool has to be ordered separatedly.
